Good afternoon!
As much as I had written a blog post about Sketchup yesterday, I realized that I should have coupled it with this blog post that I’m about to write right now..
For the most part, I believe that whatever type of art I’ve posted, it’s always been a digital print or painting or something of that nature. Well, over the past few months, I’ve also been incorporating t-shirt designs into my body of artwork. I have to say, I’ve been selling some of them. Again, I like to use different mediums to relate to people in other ways they may not understand or care to listen to had it been in a different medium.
But I digress…This latest t-shirt concept I call it Muses over Bitches. It’s coming from a point of view of me imagining a scenario where I’m with a woman and she gets to the point where she makes me choose between her or my art craft…I think that if you’re with the right person, they will actually inspire you and inadvertently bring out the best in your work in some way while supporting you 110%. so needless to say, I would choose my art over her…bitch, bounce!.. I actually did a couple of different versions of this design which is a sculpture of a female figure without a face – one version has a backdrop and the chisel and hammer…. the other just has the statue with the flourishy portion that has the words inscribed’

The other side of the meaning behind this design is a play on the word muse referencing being a goddess figure..because you know,.. so elevated we’re amongst gods (in this case, goddesses)
personally, I prefer the second one.. but the reaction to both is pretty split.
